Why did you get into being a modern day Levite/ musical priest and why are you still here?

I first encountered prayer with worship in 2012 with a few harp and bowl trainings before a mission trip. My husband, Evan, and I were marked during that season, pressing into the Lord like never before. I love the way worship and intercession weave themselves together in such a beautiful way. Jesus' nearness is so evident to me whether we're pressing in and asking Him to move mightily or we're studying His word through singing. I stay because Jesus is worthy of endless worship and together we get to explore the depths of His love.

What’s one of your favorite Bible characters and why?

It’s honestly David. During one of the rockiest seasons of my life, I leaned into the Psalms. I love the humanity in the Psalms of David with all of his feelings and yet still experiencing the nearness of God.
